CREATOR HOTEL KULAI, Kulai – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel rooms were clean but lacked furnishings, the TV was small and not digital, causing inconvenience not being able to watch channels, and noise from outside could be heard at night. The service was friendly but misunderstood my needs at times. The location, while not attractive, was easy to find and offered convenient breakfast options nearby. The dining area left something to be desired with cleanliness concerns, but there was a food court next to the hotel. Overall, the hotel requires significant improvement.

The hotel rooms are actually pretty clean with two queen size beds, making it big, clean, convenient and not far from JPO, providing a comfortable stay. The service is friendly and proactive, with staff members going the extra mile to assist guests. The location is a bit far from conveniences like stores and restaurants, and the sub-basement parking can be eerie, although the hotel is situated in a bustling area of Kulai. The dining options, including a food court next to the hotel, leave some room for improvement.

I found the hotel to be a bit of a mix. On one hand, the rooms provided a sense of calm and comfort, but they faced some abandoned old buildings which were not pleasant to see. The hotel is rather old and could use some significant improvements.

The hotel is situated in a somewhat eerie sub-basement parking area, a bit far from convenience stores or restaurants, but it's conveniently only a 15-minute drive to JPO. While there are places to eat nearby and easy transportation access, the location feels a bit limited. The hotel offers an interesting level 4 room lobby and is near the town of Kulai, but reaching JPO may take up to 30 minutes, which can be a drawback.

My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had a strong smell of smoke and were in need of significant improvement, yet they still managed to provide a cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of a budget hotel room. The service was efficient and the room service staff were friendly, although I encountered a pregnant staff member who went out of her way to address a card issue. The hotel's location on the busiest street in Kulai posed some challenges during peak traffic but made it convenient for meals and transportation. The dining experience left much to be desired, with a nearby foodcourt seeming dirty, lacking cleanliness. Despite these drawbacks, the facilities were decent, offering necessary amenities and a secure lounge area.
